Corbetta Salvatore has been producing chairs, tables and furniture for the contract market for 60 years. Environmental sustainability is an important value from which product design, management and production depend. We focus our attention to the use of materials, we try to reduce the row materials consumption, to rationalize the resources, to re-use and re- cycle waste and last but not least to control emission. In accordance with legislation, daily control as well as ongoing update of the productive and energetic machinery allow optimizing materials consumption and waste.

We take particular care of production waste; the packaging is studied to be easily recycled and the products are moved and transported in order to have less environmental impact.

The personnel is constantly trained and informed about our environ- mental policy in order to be conscious of our green vision and to be an active part in the environmental program.

Design

.

Each product is designed to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. From the selection of recyclable materials to the design of the product, which must allow the separation of different material types through disassembly. This approach helps minimize the environmental impact of the product at the end of its life cycle and facilitates easy recycling.

Metal

.

A fundamental part of Corbetta Salvatore’s production involves metals, mainly steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The processes mainly concern tubular elements that are cut, bent, and welded internally. During this phase, metal waste is stored on site in dedicated containers and periodically collected by specialized companies responsible for disposal in accordance with current regulations. Subsequently, the processed material is sent to selected external finishers who mainly perform chrome plating or coating (powder coating) of the components.

Plastic

.

Corbetta Salvatore internally produces a large portion of the plastic components used in its products through injection molding. To achieve this, highly recyclable technopolymers (100%) are used, sourced entirely within the European Union and compliant with current regulations. No chemical additives harmful to the environment are used during the production process. Any waste material is reused whenever possible or, if not feasible, stored in dedicated containers and later disposed of by specialized companies that handle the process according to applicable regulations.

Wood

.

Wooden items and components are produced in compliance with European regulations regarding formaldehyde emissions. Corbetta Salvatore uses raw materials exclusively from certified supply chains. Waste materials are stored in dedicated containers and subsequently disposed of by specialized companies that collect and process them in accordance with current regulations.

Fabric

.

The range of fabrics and leathers used by Corbetta Salvatore are all non-toxic and non-allergenic. Waste materials are separated, collected in dedicated containers, and disposed of by qualified and specialized companies.

Packaging

.

Packaging is designed and produced using recyclable materials such as paper and cardboard. Packaging optimization aims to maximize transport efficiency so that pollutants generated during product transportation are minimized as much as possible.
